CRE8OR Crew Member Guidelines
CRE8OR is a crew that prides itself on respect to others in the game as well as on the mic. We race fast, we race clean, and most importantly we have a good time. Low on stress, high on fun. While we try not to take things to seriously, we do demand respect for others that are joining in our racing environment, whether in crew or not. Enjoying yourself should be your primary goal, ahead of winning. A 'win at all costs' attitude will likely get you nowhere in the crew.
A few of our guidelines include:
-Our race's generally consist of contact ON and no slip stream or catchup. We prefer a more realistic race atmosphere.
-We enjoy racing in ALL class of vehicles. If your into hot lapping supercars all day, CRE8OR will likely not be a good fit for you. If you don't have cars in all classes, we can run GTA style races to spawn vehicles, but it would be a good idea to buy them. We can help guide you with which vehicle will suite your needs.
-Being that we race with contact ON, collisions and spin outs are likely to happen. If you are at fault, make sure your out of the race line and wait for the other driver to pass before you continue.
-Have respect on the mic. Realize others don't want to hear loud noises in the background, or constant play-by-play chatter.
-Have spatial awareness. Respect those around you, and leave room for others to avoid undesirable situations, like giving up a spot when you have a bad line, rather than pushing yourself through and creating a wreck.
Most of all, enjoy yourself. You do not need to be the fastest, you just need to be respectful. Often times when joining a new crew, initiates want to prove themselves by being fast, which most times makes them look too eager or creates wrecks. Be cool and be consistent.
If you don't feel confident in your racing abilities, or you are interested in learning more about contact racing, we would be happy to assist you in that. We tend to be pretty patient with those that have troubles, but are putting in the effort to improve and are racing within crew guidelines. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere that everybody can enjoy, from first place to last place in the racing grid.
It is important to know that we are not necessarily an 18+ crew, but we do set high standards for levels of maturity. Any prospective crew invitees will be judged not on their speed, but by their respectfulness to others. Good race craft is a positive, but is something that can be improved with practice, so it's not really the most important thing.
